The Process
1.
Once commission requests have reopened, click on the type of Custom Painting you'd like, the desired size and complete payment of the deposit.
From there, I'll reach out via email for reference photos of your home or bouquet.
2.
We will discuss desired angles of the painting and what details you would like emphasized or diminished. Realism is an option for bouquets, beginning at a 50% price increase.
3.
After I've gathered the necessary specifics, I begin my sketch. I will send at least one photo of the sketching process to ensure all details are correct.
4.
Now is the really fun part, painting! I generally put down at least 5 layers of watercolor to create depth in the paintings. I will send 2-3 images during this process.
5.
Once I have finished every last detail, your custom home portrait or wedding bouquet is sealed in a clear sleeve with hard backing board to keep it safe + a sweet note!
Final payment is due before or upon delivery of painting.
